VOLUNTEERS Needed for 46th Annual ESSC Ski Sale
ESSC SKI Sale once again is looking for lots of help for this event!
Less than 2 weeks until the ski sale! Wow, it really is time to start thinking winter and ski season if you have not.
But first how about helping out at the ski sale – ESSC Junior Program makes it possible for all our Valley children to participate in the sport we are so passionate about. The 46thAnnual ESSC Ski Sale is one of the clubs largest fundraisers supporting this wonderful program. If you were lucky enough to have grown up in Junior Program, it time for pay back and I know many of you, so come out and help us during the sale.
We are looking for lots of volunteers to help at the ski sale which is held at the New North Conway Community Center 11/9/16 – 11/12/16.
There are many jobs, some requiring a bit of knowledge of equipment but many just require a helping hand and great attitude! We can definitely show you how to do any of the tasks necessary for a successful sale.
Drop off Nights: 6PM – 8PM at the New North Conway Community Center’s Wednesday and Thursday – No more tent and being outside in the cold, rain or wind!
Wednesday 11/9 and Thursday 11/10 drop off nights – Shifts are 5:45 – 8:00 both nights.
Jobs available – Marking &Tagging, Check in (Pre sold tags), Appraising, sorting tags and running tagged items, data input
Shop Drop off – Friday 11/11
Shift: 9AM – 11AM
Job: assist shops hauling their gear in
Sale itself is when we need the most help!
Sale: Friday 11/11 – 3 PM to 8 PM
Shift #1: 2:30 – 6:00
Shift #2: 5:30 – 8:00
Sale: Saturday 11/12 – 9 AM to Noon
Shift #1: 8:45 – Noon
Jobs available for the sale:
Security – front door& back door
Cashiers and taggers/markers
Sales people for Alpine and XC skis and snowboards
Boot fitters, helmet fitters
Floor people – greeting, guiding, organizing our guests
Floaters – whatever is needed?
Clean Up Crew:
Saturday 11/12 – 11:45 to 4:00
Job: clean up and sort unsold items
Saturday 11/12 (New) – Pick up your Cash or Gear: 4 PM to 6 PM
Jobs: check in, cashiers, security front door, and searchers, break down and clean up

How do I sign up? Sign up to volunteer by sending Karen Dolan at kdolan@cranmore.com your availability and we will be looking for you to fill that shift/s – Make sure you include name, day and shift or shifts, and your preferred job… then just show up for your shift!
Please check in for your shift, make a name tag, report for your assignment (the guidelines of your task will be reviewed with you) and then you are off to your shift. Thank You VERY much for volunteering!

Volunteers wanted for ESSC Junior Ski program this winter.
Most schools are experiencing a shortage of volunteers to ski or snowboard with our Local School Children.
Come join us one afternoon a week for 8 weeks (January 3rd – March 7th)
