VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 49th Annual ESSC Ski Sale
ESSC SKI Sale once again is looking for lots of help for this event! It’s less than 2 weeks until the ski sale! Wow,it really is time to start thinking winter and ski season if you have not.
But first, how about helping out at the ski sale – ESSC Junior Program makes it possible for all our Valley children to participate in the sport we are so passionate about. The 49thAnnual ESSC Ski Sale is one of the Club’s largest fundraisers supporting this wonderful program. If you were lucky enough to have grown up in Junior Program, it is time to payback or in some cases pay it forward.
We are looking for lots of volunteers to help at the ski sale which is held at the North Conway Community Center (Indoors) 11/6/19 – 11/9/19. There are many jobs, some requiring a bit of knowledge of equipment, but a lot just require a helping hand and a great attitude! We can definitely show you how to do any of tasks necessary for the success of the sale. Working the Sale will fulfill hours for your community service.
Drop off Nights: 6PM – 8PM at the North Conway Community Center on Wednesday and ThursdayWednesday 11/6 and Thursday 11/7 Shift is 5:45pm – 8:00pm each night.
Jobs: Marking &Tagging, Check-in (Pre-sold tags), Appraising (need some knowledge of gear), sorting tags and running tagged items.
Shop Drop Off: This is when the ski shops bring in all their gear, already tagged, lots of moving equipment and merchandise.
Friday 11/8: Shift is 9:00am – 11:00am

Floor people-greeting, guiding, organizing our guests, floaters,– whatever is needed?
Clean Up Crew Saturday 11/9, 12:45am – 3:00pm, clean up and sort unsold items before we reopenPick up your Cash/Gear: Saturday 11/9, 4PM- 6 PM
Jobs: check in, cashiers, security front door, and searchers, break down and clean up
We hope you will be able to volunteer for this event and appreciate your continuous help and support. How do I sign up? Sign up to work by sending Karen Dolan at kdolan@cranmore.com your availability and we
will be looking for you to fill that shift(s). Make sure you include your name, day(s) and shift(s), and your preferred job. Then you just have to show up for your shift.
When you arrive to volunteer, please check in for the start of your shift, make a name tag, and report for your assignment (the guidelines of your task will be reviewed with you when you check in). Then you are off to your shift and Thank You! Once again, we appreciate your huge effort and support for ESSC. Don’t forget tocheck your closet, basement, and attic for any slightly used items you want to sell!

Volunteers are wanted for ESSC Junior Ski program this winter.
Most schools are experiencing a shortage of volunteers to ski or snowboard with our Local School Children.
Come join us one afternoon a week for 8 weeks (January 6th – March 12th Snow Day ) More information can be found at www.easternslopeskiclub.org
